What you get

Notion for Startups gives eligible teams free months on the Business plan with Notion AI included. The length depends on your tier:

• 6 months for non-paying teams under 100 employees that are affiliated with a Notion startup partner.
• 3 months for non-paying teams under 100 employees with a valid business website and company-domain email.
• 1 month for teams under 10 employees, SMBs, or applications with incomplete business details.

Notion values the top offer at up to $12,000 (for 100 employees at $20 per member per month, billed annually). You also get discounts on other startup software and one free session with a Notion Certified Consultant to set up your workspace.

Who qualifies

You must be a non-paying Notion customer, use a work email (not Gmail or Outlook), have fewer than 100 employees and not have received a Notion promotion before. The 3- and 6-month offers are aimed at startups building scalable, tech-related products; agencies, consultancies and service businesses usually get the 1-month offer. No funding minimum is stated.

Good to know

• The 6-month tier needs a partner (an investor, accelerator or similar). If yours is not listed, they can apply to become a partner.
• After the free period the workspace bills at the normal Business rate unless you change plan.
• Only one promotion per customer, so do not burn it on a test workspace.

An easy, low-friction win for any early team that runs docs, wikis and planning in Notion. Without a partner the 3-month tier is still worth claiming.
