What you get

The Linear Startup Program gives free access to Linear's Business plan for a limited period. The official page does not state the number of months on the main page; when the period ends your workspace moves to the free plan unless you upgrade, and you keep your data.

Who qualifies

• You must be affiliated with an official Linear partner; the page listed 493 partners on the day we checked.
• Non-paying Linear users only.
• Fewer than 50 employees.

Good to know

• There is no open application: redeem through your partner's dedicated link or enter their partner code when prompted.
• You must be a workspace admin and logged in to redeem.
• If your accelerator or investor is not on the list, they can apply to join the programme.
• Some partner bundles (for example banking perk catalogues) advertise a fixed number of free months; those terms come from the partner, not from Linear's page.

Many accelerators, investors and business banks are on Linear's partner list, so it is worth checking every organisation you already belong to. Set up teams, cycles and labels from day one so the free period builds habits your engineers will keep once you pay. Redeem it as soon as your team starts tracking real work, so the free months are not wasted.

Verdict

Linear is a favourite issue tracker for product teams. If you already have a partner, claiming this takes minutes. Without one, Linear's free plan is still usable while you look for a partner route.
