What you get

Netlify builds and hosts websites and web apps from your Git repository, with deploy previews, serverless functions and a global edge network. Plans use credits that every action draws down:

• Free: $0, 300 credits a month.
• Personal: $9 a month, 1,000 credits, for individuals.
• Pro: $20 a month, 3,000 credits, for teams with unlimited members.

Credit costs on the pricing page: 15 credits per production deploy, 10 per GB-hour of compute, 20 per GB of bandwidth and 2 per 10,000 web requests; AI inference depends on the model. Extra credits come in auto-recharge packs (500 for $5 on Personal, 1,500 for $10 on Pro).

Good to know

• Production deploys cost credits, so frequent deploys on the free plan can use up the monthly allowance.
• Pro's flat price covers unlimited members, which is good value for a team compared with per-seat pricing.
• We found no startup credit programme on Netlify's site.
• Static landing pages use few credits; server functions, heavy bandwidth or frequent deploys use more, so review usage after your first busy month.
• Keep your domain at a separate registrar so you can move hosts without touching DNS ownership.
• Use deploy previews to review changes with your team before they go live.

Verdict

Netlify is an easy, predictable home for a landing page, docs site or frontend app. Estimate your monthly credits (deploys plus bandwidth) before choosing Personal or Pro.
