About Clearco
What you get
Clearco funds US ecommerce brands against their own sales data instead of taking equity. Its own site advertises "flexible, non-dilutive funding up to $10 million," offered as Fixed Funding Capacity, Rolling Funding Capacity, a Cash Advance or Invoice Funding, with estimated repayment terms of up to 12 months. Rates are not published; Clearco says they are based on business performance and can improve the more you repay successfully.
Who qualifies
Direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands in apparel, beauty, food and beverage, home and garden, health and wellness, or pets. You need at least six months of consistent revenue over $100,000 a month, a company incorporated in the US, and an active US business bank account.
Good to know
- You connect a sales platform (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe or PayPal) so Clearco can read your revenue and calculate how much it will fund; there is no pitch deck or cap table review.
- Approval is fast (the page says as little as 24 hours), which matters more for inventory and ad-spend timing than a traditional venture round would.
- Fees are not disclosed on the public site; get a written offer from a Growth Advisor before comparing it against a credit card, a bank line or Shopify Capital.
- This is financing you repay, not a grant or a perk; model the repayment into your cash flow before you take it.
Verdict
A reasonable way to fund inventory and ad spend without giving up equity, provided your margins can absorb the (undisclosed) cost of capital. Worth comparing against Highbeam, Shopify Capital and a line of credit from your own bank before signing.
