About Highbeam
What you get
Highbeam is a fintech for US ecommerce and omni-channel brands, with banking through Thread Bank (Member FDIC). It offers checking and savings accounts with no minimum balance and no monthly, annual, ACH, domestic wire or overdraft fees. Its deposit sweep program advertises up to 3.52% APY with up to $3M in FDIC coverage; as published on 2026-09-17, the Business Savings Account rate was 2.58% standard, rising to about 3.07% at a $1M minimum and 3.52% at a $3M minimum, and these rates are variable and tied to the federal funds rate. Cards pay up to 2% cash back on ad spend and 1% on other purchases, subject to minimum balances. A revolving credit line is also available, sized from roughly 15 days of ecommerce payout revenue up to about a month's worth, priced as a flat APR that Highbeam does not publish.
Who qualifies
US-incorporated ecommerce and omni-channel brands. To apply you need an owner's personal ID, EIN, business name and address, plus registration certificates, business licenses or articles of incorporation.
Good to know
- Highbeam is a technology company, not a bank; deposits are held and insured through Thread Bank, not Highbeam itself.
- International transfers cost a flat $20 in USD or are free (after currency exchange) in other currencies; card transactions abroad carry a 1% Visa fee.
- Credit line size depends on your actual payout revenue, so it grows as your sales grow rather than being a fixed limit.
- Use the published value calculator to estimate savings before switching your operating account over.
Verdict
A strong fit for a US ecommerce brand that wants yield on idle cash and a credit line sized to its actual sales, without the paperwork of a traditional bank loan. Compare its rates against Mercury or Brex if you don't need the ecommerce-specific credit line.
